Revegetation Project Kurth Kiln Picnic Ground 18 November 2004.

Grade 5 of the Gembrook Primary School spent some 4 hours digging, planting, matting, staking, watering and wrapping 180 plants along the Northern boundary of the Picnic Ground. Helped by the watchful eyes of some volunteer parents, Rhonda the teacher, Parks Victoria Ranger Ralph and the Friends group.  

Following a Sausage Sizzle and a short lecture on the history of Kurth Kiln, each was presented with an engraved Kurth Kiln pen.
