Confirmands meet at Klinks Place in the Bush
Eight students, Elders Herta and Renate, Susie and Tony (driving the ROSA Bus) spend a few hours at Alfred and Ursula Klink's place. They went for walk with Ursula, tried to look at the stars with Alfred's telescope but it was overcast and drizzling, took in confirmands lesson number 2, had supper and looked at a video from Jim Blanksby of his visit to last year's solar eclipse in Libya. And of course we talked about God and the world and astronomy.
Do you have to believe in a God to be a Templer?
Believe in what kind of a notion of God?
Some concepts of God are downright unhealthy to believe in.
If you are searching for a framework for a meaning for life, but haven’t found
an image of God you can believe in yet, you can still be a Templer.
The concept of God has changed vastly since the time of Jesus, and even in the
150 years since Christoph Hoffmann the Templer understanding and interpretation
has undergone many revisions
Work on revising and expanding your idea of ‘God’ continuously as new knowledge
expands your horizon.
