Celebrating the 2009 Bayswater Community Christmas

At 18:00 the Bayswater Hall was all dressed up for the Christmas Festivity. Some 100 parents and grand(grand)parents, uncles and aunts came to watch their kids perform a Christmas Play.  Dresses up as shepherds, angels, kings and animals the play centred on the Nativity and the selection of an animal of burden to carry Mary to Bethlehem. We sang all the familiar Christmas songs accompanied by the Templer Brass-band and cheered with the kids when Father Christmas appeared.

The evening concluded with Coffee and Gutsle and friendly reminiscences, while the kids relaxed with the adjoining playground equipment.

A selection of snapshots from the evening are listed below.
